Frequently Asked Questions
Questions and Answers
What should I do when my power trips?
Check if the whole block is affected. If it is, call SP Group on 1800 778 8888. If only your home is, unplug appliances and reset the RCCB or breaker once. If it trips again, stop and send a request.
How much does an electrician cost in Singapore?
Published 2026 ranges (The Money Bees): call-out S$30 to S$60; power-trip diagnosis S$60 to S$150; MCB replacement S$120 to S$180; RCCB or ELCB replacement S$180 to S$280; socket replacement S$60 to S$120; DB box rewire or upgrade S$250 to S$800.
Do electricians need a licence in Singapore?
Yes. Electrical work such as wiring and RCCB installation must be carried out by a licensed electrical worker licensed by the Energy Market Authority.
Can I keep resetting the RCCB?
No. If it trips again immediately, the fault is still connected. Repeated resetting does not fix it, and an RCCB must never be bypassed.
Is this an electrical company?
No. It is a referral service. Requests go to independent electricians who serve your area.
Which areas do you cover?
Homes across Singapore, including Tampines, Yishun, Punggol, Woodlands, Sengkang, Bedok, Ang Mo Kio, Bukit Batok, Pasir Ris and Jurong West.
